Our Programs
At BodyKind Vail, our programs are built in direct response to the voices of our community. We believe those closest to the challenges are also closest to the solutions. That’s why we actively listen, invite feedback, and create space for ongoing dialogue. Our offerings are designed to evolve—with flexibility and intention—so they remain relevant, inclusive, and responsive to the real needs of those we serve. Community-informed, always.
Peer Support Groups
Our peer support groups meet weekly and provide an open and welcoming space for anyone impacted by eating disorders to come together. These sessions focus on open, honest conversations in a safe and supportive environment where individuals can connect and share their experiences. Together, we listen, support, and remind each other that healing is stronger when done together.
One-on-One Peer Support
Our certified peer support specialist offers one-on-one, nonjudgmental support for anyone in the valley navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, or body image struggles. With shared lived experience, they provide a safe space to be heard and supported, and can help connect individuals to additional resources if needed.
Family-Style Meal-Time Support
BodyKind Vail’s Meal Support Program helps ease the challenges of mealtime in eating disorder recovery by offering a weekly space for shared meals, connection, and support. Participants prepare and enjoy meals together, followed by grounding activities and open dialogue. Occasional restaurant outings also help build real-world confidence and comfort around food—all in a compassionate, judgment-free environment.
Workshops
Our monthly workshops offer a creative, supportive space to build positive body image, reconnect with yourself, and explore healing through hands-on activities. Participants learn healthy coping strategies, uncover root issues, and leave with tools to support their recovery journey.
Resources and Referrals
BodyKind Vail helps individuals navigate support options by connecting them with trusted resources, organizations, and treatment centers tailored to their unique needs.
Community Education
Many in the Vail Valley affected by eating disorders share a common wish: greater community understanding. At BodyKind Vail, we use education to reduce stigma and foster support. Through quarterly events and tailored presentations, we’re building a more informed, compassionate community.
Youth Outreach + Prevention
Children as young as 5 may already express concerns about their bodies. BodyKind Vail’s Youth Outreach Program promotes positive body image, challenges harmful norms, and builds self-worth through early, age-appropriate education—helping prevent eating disorders before they begin.
